Petros Chrysafis was born and raised in the Republic of Cyprus. He studied Zoology at the University of Aberdeen where his passion for large mammal predators grew. During his time there he got involved in various human-wildlife conflict resolutions and wolf population surveys. 
He then moved to California where he is currently based. He completed his MS Biology at California State University Fresno in mammal presence along the San Joaquin River.
Petros is currently working with various livestock producers in the Central Valley to establish predator monitoring tools and non-lethal deterrent measures to ensure livestock and wildlife safety.
